Practice with Purpose
Supporting the Practitioner, Strengthening the Practice
Being a therapist can be enormously rewarding, but it can also bring moments of uncertainty, challenge and professional isolation.
Perhaps you’re newly qualified and finding your feet, an experienced practitioner questioning an aspect of your work, or simply looking for opportunities to develop your skills, confidence and professional judgement.
Wherever you are in your professional journey, having the space to explore your thinking, share experiences and consider fresh perspectives can make a meaningful difference.
Through Practice with Purpose, I offer a range of professional development and support opportunities designed to help you grow in confidence, strengthen your clinical practice and work in a way that feels both effective and sustainable.
My approach is collaborative, reflective and practical. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, I encourage practitioners to explore their own professional strengths, develop their thinking and discover approaches that work for them.
How Can I Support You?
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Learn, Explore and Develop
My CPD workshops combine clinical insight, practical tools and reflective learning, with opportunities to explore the realities of therapeutic practice alongside other professionals.
Topics include client readiness, consultation skills, professional voice, therapeutic boundaries and sustainable practice.
Workshops are designed to be engaging, thought-provoking and immediately relevant to your work with clients.
Ideal for: Practitioners who enjoy structured learning and want to develop their knowledge, confidence and clinical skills.
Workshop dates and fees are advertised individually.
Power Hours
Focused Thinking, Practical Progress
60 minutes | One-to-one online | £68
Sometimes there’s a particular aspect of your practice that would benefit from a little focused attention.
Power Hours offer dedicated time to explore a professional challenge, develop a skill or gain clarity around something that’s been leaving you uncertain.
We might explore consultation techniques, professional confidence, therapeutic boundaries, client readiness or the way you communicate your professional opinions.
Each session is tailored to your needs, helping you identify practical steps that feel achievable and relevant to your work.
Ideal for: Practitioners looking for individualised guidance around a specific area of professional development.
Practice Focus Groups
Shared Experiences, Fresh Perspectives
90 minutes | Small online groups | £35 per person
Professional development doesn’t always have to involve formal teaching. Sometimes the richest learning comes from conversation, reflection and hearing how other practitioners approach similar challenges.
Practice Focus Groups provide a welcoming, facilitated environment where we explore specific themes in greater depth.
Topics include developing practitioner confidence, using your professional voice, CARE vs CARRY, consultation clarity and working with client readiness.
Groups are kept small to encourage meaningful discussion and participation.
Ideal for: Practitioners who value collaborative learning, shared clinical thinking and fresh perspectives.
Clinical Supervision
Reflect, Explore and Strengthen Your Practice
Individual supervision | £65 per hour
Clinical supervision offers a confidential, structured professional space to reflect on your client work, explore clinical challenges, consider ethical responsibilities and support your ongoing development.
Supervision is not simply about resolving difficulties. It also provides opportunities to recognise your strengths, develop professional judgement and maintain your own wellbeing as a practitioner.
I offer individual and group supervision, with opportunities for both ongoing support and professional reflection.
Ideal for: Practitioners seeking regular clinical reflection, accountability and support in maintaining safe, ethical and effective practice.
Please enquire about group supervision availability and fees.
Not Sure Where to Begin?
You don’t need to have a particular problem or challenge to benefit from professional support.
Perhaps you’d like to develop greater confidence, explore a new perspective or simply have time to think about how you want your practice to evolve.
If you’re unsure which option would be most helpful, you’re welcome to get in touch. We can discuss what you’re looking for and identify an appropriate starting point.
Your professional development should support the practitioner you are, as well as the practitioner you’re becoming.
Let’s Continue the Conversation
Whether you’re at the beginning of your therapeutic career or have years of experience behind you, there’s always room for reflection, learning and growth.
