When The Red Mist Rises
- Have you ever wondered why you get angry?
- Does anger affect your job, your relationships, family life or friendships?
- Do you often find yourself apologising after ‘going off the deep end’?
- Do you notice other people’s anger? Are you often on the receiving end of it?
- Do you have an angry child or teenager at home?
You may not recognise your behaviour, thoughts and feelings as something to do with anger because anger is bad, right? And who wants to be bad??
Anger not dealt with in a healthy way has a tendency to get buried and build up. This can then give rise to all sorts of problems both emotionally and physically. And have you noticed how women sometimes deal with anger in a different way to men?
As a qualified anger practitioner, I know the importance of understanding and anger and knowing how to recognise it so I can support my clients to work through issues in a safe and collaborative way.
Therefore, there are two options available to you depending on your requirements.
Introductory Session: £40
‘When the Red Mist Rises’ – 1 – 1 programme
Introductory Session
All Introductory Sessions and Packages are delivered on a 1-1 basis, enabling you to speak freely and to tailor the information to your personal circumstances.
They are available online or in person.
The session includes:
How to spot anger signs
What the effects of anger are
When it is helpful in day-to-day life
Explore ways to deal with angry people
And learn some useful strategies in anger management.
When the Red Mist Rises: 1 – 1 Programme
With this option you will work with me on a weekly basis, exploring the origins of your anger and how the female conditioned responses make anger a different experience for women.
This bespoke package provides a safe and comfortable environment in which to identify, explore and put to rest some of the big, scary feelings we can hold onto from childhood.
Society, family and our early experiences all shape the way we view things and our level of understanding. This, in turn shapes our opinions and we often accept and absorb other people’s thoughts and behaviours. Did your mother ever show anger? Or was she the ‘put up and shut up’ type? I mean no disrespect here however, it can be easy to see sometimes where we have learned our strategies from when dealing with the ‘big’ emotions
This package consists of a program of bespoke 1-1 sessions with me, in person or on Zoom. We use some worksheets to help you go from feeling frustrated and angry to assertive and upbeat.
Discover your triggers and the cues your body gives you that alert your system to the anger response, learn how to control the impulse, and turn anger into a force for good. Together we travel through the origins of anger, identifies the underlying triggers, adds resolution and solves problems leaving you feeling calmer and more in control of your biggest energetic asset – your anger power.
This unique experience package of time, space and tailored expertise in psychotherapy will give you understanding, power and peace in your heart to live your best life.
To discuss further, please book a free, no obligation chat.
The package is competitively priced at £195.00 (normally £250.00) for 4 sessions plus all supporting material. (Worth £80).
Here are some comments from women I have worked with:
Question: Having completed the taster session, do you have a different view of anger?
Response: “Yes, I see it in a more positive way, it’s about how it is managed and realising how you react to things.”
Question: How were you impacted on a personal level?
Response: “I was very surprised at how many boxes (on the questionnaire) I ticked and doing this exercise with you has made me so much more ware of my triggers and my emotional responses to things.”
Question: Would you recommend this to a friend?
Response: “Yes!”
“One friend in particular. She has huge hang ups about her anger, and I think this course would normalise it a bit more for her and help her to frame it into something more positive. It would also help her relationship.”
Question: How were you impacted on a personal level?
Response: “Personal reflection and how I handle (if that’s the right word) my anger. Reflecting on what are my triggers.”
I am on a mission to support women to deal with their anger in a healthy way to avoid future problems and to shine a light on the power that anger can bring which makes you a force to be reckoned with!

Work out which option is right for you – the introductory session or the 1-1 programme as detailed in ‘Top Tips to Manage Anger’.
The introductory session is enough for some people however, others may need some more support and a more tailored approach to deal with their anger or understand other people’s anger better.
